North Lincolnshire - Showing the university and cathedral city of
Lincoln, the town of Grimsby and Scunthorpe and the market towns of
Barton, Brigg, Louth and Horncastle. Along the coast is the seaside town of
Cleethorpes and Mablethorpe. The area is served by the M180 which links to
the A180 into Grimsby and to the A15 across the Humber Bridge to Hull.
Rail links via Lincoln, Market Rasen, Brigg, Scunthorpe and Grimsby with
Coach Links to Lincoln, Grimsby, Louth and Mablethorpe. There is a
ferry terminal to Europe at Hull with links to Zebrugge and Rotterdam and
Humberside Airport at Kirmington (at the end of M180) Terrain
along East is predominately flat until the Lincolnshire wolds which rise to
around 500ft. The Wolds stretches from Barton to Spilsby with Louth, known
as the capital of the wolds in between. Area is bisected by the Viking Way
walking route and Hull to Harwich cycle route.
