Lincolnshire Video Tours
TOUR 1 - The cobbles tour features one of the many side streets in
Louth and views along the cobbles to Little Eastgate. Shops on view are the
lingerie shop, computer shop, hair salon and in the distance Wrights newsagents
which oddly has its' sign upside down. On the corner is a wet fish shop which
has a fabulous range of fish and crab many of which are landed in
Grimsby.
TOUR 2 - Eastgate and the Clock Tower, Louth feature views of the tower
and shops below including the bakers and several charity shops. This area is
busy with flower sellers and other stalls on market days and is a meeting point
for many residents who are known as Ludensians.
TOUR 3 - Westgate, Louth has a delightful country pub called the
Wheatsheaf and at the top of Westgate is St. James church. This side street
featured is just stunning and is quintessentially English with its little
terraced gardens, white washed walls and ivy hedges.
TOUR 4 - Lincoln is a city which is going places, despite its Roman
heritage and museums the city is now buzzing with development because of the
success of its university. Viewed here are Roman soldiers during a battle
re-enactment and views of the Cathedral, Castle and museum.
